We’re Jonathan and Katie Pack — a husband-and-wife team who believe in working hard, celebrating life, and making every gathering feel like home. Together with our three amazing kids, Marcus, Gwen, and Hazel, we’ve built a life full of passion, purpose, and a whole lot of love.
Jonathan is a Wine Consultant and Winemaker with a deep-rooted love for fermentation that began with brewing beer and evolved into a full-blown wine journey. After earning his degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis in 2005, he helped bring his family’s dream to life — Gwinllan Estate Winery in the heart of Fair Play, CA. Known especially for his award-winning Champagne, Jonathan’s wines have earned numerous accolades, including four consecutive Best in Show awards at the Foothills Wine Festival and Best Champagne at the Orange County Fair.
Katie is an early childhood education entrepreneur with a heart for nurturing and a mind for business. She began her journey in 2006, helping open a preschool alongside her mother. In 2007, Safari Learning Academy was born, and Katie has since grown it into a thriving educational center, later expanding to Folsom with the launch of Zoo-phonics Learning Academy in 2024. As CEO and Administrator, Katie leads with vision, compassion, and a deep commitment to giving children the best start possible.
We met in 2018, fell in love, and married at the vineyard in 2020 — blending not only our families but our dreams. We love cooking, creating, hosting, and above all, building community.
